While Britney Spears was busy completing her usual workout at Ballys over the weekend, her dad Jamie was taking care of business. Jamie cancelled her deal with the Danish businessman Claus Hjelmbak to promote a line of imported furniture because he suspected that Claus was just using Britney for publicity. Since she still isn’t able to legally act on her own behalf, it’s great that Jamie seems to be making decisions that are in Brit’s best interest. Plus, she’s got lots of other projects in the pipeline, so it sounds like this is one she can afford to skip out on.
